For learners under 25 years old in NSW, structured driving lessons with an accredited instructor can help you earn bonus logbook hours:

The first 10 hours of structured daytime driving lessons with an instructor count as 30 logbook hours (3-for-1 bonus). After completing the first 10 instructor hours, additional lessons are recorded at the standard 1 hour driven = 1 logbook hour. If a lesson is longer than 1 hour, only the eligible instructor hours receive the 3-for-1 bonus, with remaining hours recorded normally. Night driving lessons count toward your required night hours according to NSW learner logbook rules.
